Tawa burned me and I liked it
Wowza. Tawa's Five-Star Phaal spice is awesome. And hot. I'll write more once I regain sensation in my fingers.

Mysterious van seen around town
Be on the lookout for a windowless white van driving around Stamford offering tasty food. Here's a picture:
How awesome is this?? They have a ton of great products that they'll deliver right to your door every Saturday! You can't beat the value of their Winter Weekly Farmers' Box for $18 or $24. They even have products from Wave Hill Breads, which is the most amazing bread you will ever taste.

Too cold to blog
I know you've all been waiting - even clamoring - for a new post from Yours Truly, but between baby duty (heh) and Arctic air, I've been derelict in my mission to provide you with everything you need to know about Stamford. You can sleep tight at night knowing that I'm working on it. In the meantime, you can keep up with the CTW by reading my friends' blogs, listed down and to the right.
If you have any ideas or suggestions for things you'd like me to investigate, photograph or write about, feel free to drop me a line.

Lamb vindaloo, hold the lamb
On the site of the former Mona Lisa on Atlantic Street is Navaratna, which will be serving vegetarian Indian cuisine when it opens soon.
Remember how all the nutjobs on Topix used to bemoan Stamford's development as "becoming a mini-Manhattan"? With all of these Indian restaurants opening downtown, I wonder if they'd be screaming about "mini-Mumbai."
I, on the other hand, am looking forward to spontaneous dance numbers popping up all over downtown.
