Fairfield County Eats!
No, not in the pejorative sense, in the charitable sense. The Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County is holding a fundraiser event this Thursday at the Stamford Hilton called Fairfield County Eats. It's a sampler-type dinner with tables from restaurants all over the Lower FC. It combines two of my favorite things: eating and more eating, so I'll be there!

Speaking of food, any chance you know the latest on Key Food?
I haven't heard or seen anything there besides free overflow parking for people heading downtown.
Has anyone ever been to one of these events before? Do you have to pay anything extra once you are there for the food/drink, or is it the one time $50 fee? Thanks!
I'm pretty sure the $50 entrance fee covers all of your food and drink.
