It was a fun and hectic trip, so I showed up an hour too late to watch the Veterans Day parade, but I did manage to see the 11th Regiment, Connecticut Volunteer Infantry Company A marching back up Summer Street.
Please say a little thank you or prayer for all the brave men and women who have fought and died for this country so you and I can enjoy the freedom and security that we do, and for those fighting today.

Mi Terruno is good eats. While you were in Columbia did you try any refajo? If it had been more than just me and the missus at Mi Terruno I would have ordered a pitcher...
I did try it! They actually sell it in bottles as "Cola y Pola." I also love the Coca-Cola in South America because they still make it with real sugar, not high fructose corn syrup. It tastes so much better!
So you tried it and you survived with enough health to make it back to the US?
I'm definitely ordering a pitcher on my next visit to Mi Terruno. I just need to find some friends to drink it with me...
