New restaurant, moved restaurant, and dancing across town

The place that used to house Cafe Margot is getting a new tenant: Tabouli Grill. I'm curious to see how exactly they plan on grilling tabouli.

Tawa, the indian restaurant at the foot of High Ridge Road, is either moving or opening a second location on Summer Street, in the old Ocean 211 spot.

And, finally, Maria Fiora's dance studio is moving from Hillandale Avenue (near Stamford High) to a new location on Summer Street above Ferrante.

And Bennets is closed for the summer?

I read somewhere (though I can't find it) that they're doing renovations.

yes Bennetts has a sign to that effect displayed on their closed door currently, to reopen in September. But isn't this prime-time for them, with the outdoor dining and all?

Glad you're doing your foodie homework! Yum...

Actually August is a very slow time for Bennett's since corporate travel is slow due to vacations. It was due for a facelift and will reopen September 1st.

Isn't Tawa going to be right next to an existing Indian Restaurant? Poor Meera!

Bennett's will not be reopening on Spring St. Instead they will move to the Hampton Inn on Mill River Street replacing RuLu's.
