American choppers
After the President's motorcade left Kosciuszko Park, I got close enough (across the water on Harbor Plaza) to take these pictures of Marine One and one of the escort Chinooks. The pictures don't do justice to how big and impressive these machines are.

I wonder why they took all the solar panels and globes off the lights at the park? Would the wind force from the choppers have broken them?
