More trouble for Sabatiello's

It seems that Sammy "The Obnoxious, Customer-Insulting, Bad Businessman" Settembre has gotten himself into even more hot water. According to the Advocate article, he was arrested for allegedly vandalizing his restaurant before he vacated it. Yikes.

That is too bad, there is suppose to be something good coming (I can not remember who or what it was going in there, Indian maybe?) It is sad her could not learn the lesson given.

I wish we were around to properly review his place in Stamford before the wheels fell off the bus. It baffles me how someone could treat his customers like garbage and assume they weren't going to stop patronizing him.

There were countless comparable (read: better) alternatives mere blocks from this place, it's no small miracle that it stayed open for as long as it did.

What am I missing? He breaks some glass and the tab comes to $20,000?

I think Gordon Ramsey did it after he came back to visit and found the place still sucked.

Scott: Judging by his performance on Kitchen Nightmares, you guys would've had a field day tearing Sammy a new one.

Notesy: I can see how "smashed mirrors and decorative glass" adds up to $20K - a few nice chandeliers, the big mirror behind the bar, etc.

Always Home: HA!
