Neighbor opposition to a resturaunt (i.e., progress) to make this place viable shuts down another potential great addition to Stamford. Great. No Whole Foods, etc. It appears Darien and Greenwich can cope with inns with rests. and wholesome alternative markets but not Stamford. Sheesh.

While I can't wait to visit the Darien Whole Foods, it still bugs me every time I pass it because it should've been built in downtown Stamford (not the Lord & Taylor site). At least we're getting Fairway down on Canal Street.

But what's wrong with us here in Stamford? Why can't we have nice things like cheese shops?
